DOULA CARE: Fees & services

An initial consultation is provided free, without obligation.

Once my services have been engaged I will provide:

• Two prenatal appointments at your home as time allows, and/or other agreed upon arrangement

• Accompaniment at your birth, from early stages of active labor until approximately two hours after the delivery

• Thorough clean-up for homebirths

• Support for breastfeeding if requested

• One follow-up postpartum visit within two weeks upon birth of your child

• 24/7 Phone and email support from contract signing to two weeks postpartum.

Additional postpartum care can be discussed and is optional. Postpartum support can be arranged whether or not I supported you as your birth doula.

In certain special cases I can provide volunteer services or may be able to adjust my fee on a sliding scale.
